Silencing healthcare workers (HCWs) who speak for Palestine amidst genocide violates international humanitarian law, our ethical code, and the oaths we took. IT IS COMPLICITY.

Genocide is the antithesis of our role as life-preservers. It is a humanitarian catastrophe. Freedom of expression must apply to healthcare workers speaking out against mass atrocities. When hospitals are systematically dismantled, when medical supplies are blocked, and when our colleagues are killed while tending to the wounded, our silence becomes a weapon used against the most vulnerable.

To witness the destruction of human life on such a massive scale and be told to look away is a profound betrayal of the very essence of medicine. We are taught to advocate for our patients. Right now, that means advocating for an end to the slaughter. We refuse to be intimidated into silence.
